RWENZORI MOUNTAINS NATIONA PARK
The Rwenzori Mountains, often referred to as the “Mountains of the Moon,” are an awe-inspiring natural wonder nestled in the heart of Africa. Rising majestically along the border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, these towering peaks are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Rwenzoris are renowned for their dramatic, glaciated summits, some of which soar above 5,000 meters (16,400 feet), making them Africa’s third-highest mountain range.
