In the evening, another delightful dinner at the resort awaits, allowing you to savour the flavours of Uganda and share stories of your extraordinary gorilla tracking experience.

Over approximately 5 to 6 hours, the route unfolds through rolling hills, verdant countryside, and glimpses of local life, showcasing the region’s picturesque beauty. As you approach Queen Elizabeth National Park, the scenery transitions to savannas and lush forests, creating opportunities for wildlife sightings.

LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

Lake Mburo National Park, situated in south-western Uganda, is a compact but diverse protected area known for its stunning scenery and unique wildlife. The park’s landscape encompasses rolling savannas, acacia woodlands, and the picturesque Lake Mburo, which is dotted with islands. Visitors to this park can enjoy game drives, boat safaris, and nature walks, offering opportunities to spot wildlife such as zebras, impalas, hippos, and a variety of bird species. Your adventure will commence with an exhilarating evening game drive in Lake Mburo National Park, providing opportunities to witness the park’s diverse wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, impalas, and more. On the following day, after enjoying a hearty breakfast, you will embark on a guided walking safari within the park. After the walking safari, a delightful lunch will be served back at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to experience a captivating boat ride on Lake Mburo.
